October 28, 2020 · The “Florida Public Radio Emergency Network” or “FPREN,” can be considered public radio’s most ambitious and successful effort in serving coastal states, providing public media audiences with critically important lifesaving multiplatform content before, during, and after hurricanes and other significant weather events.

September 30, 2020 · Today, Congress approved a Continuing Resolution (CR), a short-term funding measure that keeps the government and its programs, including support for public media, funded at roughly last year’s spending levels through December 11, 2020.

October 3, 2019 · Congress is still debating federal funding for public media. Recently, a Continuing Resolution was signed into law, which funds the government through November 21, 2019.
